Recycling
Oundle Waste Less has run a recycling collection for dental products at the Co-op and the library for a long time, using a Terracycle scheme sponsored by Colgate. This scheme paid some money for boxes of suitable items sent for recycling.
Colgate and Terracycle have now ended the scheme, so these collections have had to be stopped.
Alongside this collection, Transition Oundle trialled a collection of blister packs, also with Terracycle, but using a scheme that had to be paid for. The trial was very successful, in that many people brought along many blister packs, but the costs involved were too great to continue so the collection has now ended.
Please do not leave any dental products or blister packs at either site.
Any items left will have to be binned.
